Export your data

Get your contacts and leads out of Exabloom as a CSV — for a backup, a mail-merge, or analysis in a spreadsheet. Grab a quick export on the spot, or save a reusable template with exactly the columns you need.

The 60-second version

Need a spreadsheet of your people? You have two routes — a one-click export for right now, and saved templates for exports you run again and again. Both produce a CSV.

Quick export

The Export button on the Contacts page — grab what’s on screen (with your current filters) as a CSV in one click.

Export templates

Saved, reusable exports — choose the object and exactly which columns you want, then run the same export again any time.

Two ways to export

  • Quick export — from the Contacts page toolbar, next to Import. Exports the contacts matching your current filters.
  • Export templates — a saved definition of what object and which columns to export, so a recurring export is one click every time.

Reusable export templates

An export template lets you pick the object — Contacts or Leads — then choose exactly the columns to include and their order.

Export template · Columns

+ Add field
An export template’s Columns tab: add the fields you want — system fields, custom fields, even phone split into country code and national number.
  • Pick columns — system fields (name, email, tags, created date), your custom fields, and lead fields like Stage.
  • Save & reuse — name the template and it’s ready to run whenever you need that exact export.

Run an export

Running a template (or a quick export) produces a CSV download you can open in Excel or Google Sheets. From there it’s yours — to back up, re-import after edits, or analyse.

Tip
Exports pair neatly with imports: export your contacts, fix them in a spreadsheet, and re-import in Update contacts only mode to bulk-edit what you already store.

Good to know & pitfalls

  • Exports respect your filters. A quick export from a filtered Contacts view gives you just those people — filter first to export a precise segment.
  • Templates save you repeating yourself. If you export the same columns every month, save it as a template once and run it on demand.
  • Phone splits into parts. For contacts you can export the full number, or the country code and national number as separate columns — handy for other systems.
  • Exporting is an admin capability. Creating export templates is permission-gated — if you don’t see it, you may not have the right role.
  • It’s your data — handle it with care. An export is a file of personal information. Store it securely and delete it when you’re done.
